Sukhad had a beautiful concert with Padmshree Gundecha Brothers

It was a great pleasure playing with the World Famous Dhrupad Exponents Padmshree Gundecha Brothers.
The concert was on 10th March. A beautiful evening on Besantnagar Beach.
This evening was started with the Deep Swara of the Ancient Indian Art form, Dhrupad.
Pandit Ramakant & Umakant Gundecha with their Italian disciple Igino (Saxophone) and Virginia on Silver-Flute.
These two Italian Western Instrumentalists played so nicely, the unexpected and unbelievable on their instruments.
I was on the Pakhawaj, to accompany them.

Sukhad Munde is going to Play with Katthak.

Katthak is a very old Dance form from India.

Sukhad will be accompanying on Pakhawaj.

The Katthak Dancer is Amruta Paranjape.

Amruta is Senior Student of Katthak Nrityangana Shambhavi Dandekar-ji.

• Sukhad was born in a musical family of Great Pakhawaj Maestro Pt. Manik Munde.

• He has got inspiration with blessings from the great Gurus like Bhakt Ganesh Anna Choudhary, Pt. Satishchandra Choudhary and Prof. Govindrao Deshmukh.

• Sukhad started getting Pakhawaj Talim (training) at the age of 6 yrs under Guru-Shishya Parampara from his Father & Guru Pt. Manik Munde a wellknown Pakhawaj Player.

• Sukhad has got SWAR-GYAN from the wellknown Dhrupad Guru Pt. Uday Bhawalkar.

• He has got many opportunities to accompany with great Dhrupad Vocalists, Instrumentalists and Katthak Dancers.

• Sukhad plays Jugalbandi and Tal-vadya Kacheri with different instruments as well as Solo performances.
